Achievement Standards
The Universidad de las Americas de la Ciudad de México, has established different criteria that measure de students’ performances success when they conclude their coursework. These success criteria are called Achievement Standards and include three basic indicators:

Terminal Efficiency: In Mexico the indicator used to measure the success of a program is the Terminal Efficiency, which allows knowing the percentage of students who complete their coursework regularly and within the allotted time.

General Exit Exam (EGEL): The Universidad de las Américas de la Ciudad de México incorporates in 2010 the General Exit Exam application, administered by the National Evaluation Center for Higher Education (CENEVAL), as part of the graduation requirements for the Licenciatura students.
- Employability rate: Another indicator that measure the achievement of graduates of the Licenciatura programs is the employability rate, which is obtained by the results of the follow up to Alumni during the fisrt year of graduation.
Ideal Indicators

Terminal Efficiency: That 75% of the students of a generation finish and approve all the courses of the program in the established time.

EGEL results: That 80% of the graduates obtain results between satisfactory and outstanding when applying the EGEL.

Employability rate : That at least 40% of the graduates obtain employment during the first year of graduation.
