Admission is the process carried out to determine if a person meets the requirements to be a student in any of the academic programs offered by the Institution. This process consists of two stages:
- Selection of applicants, which includes the reception and registration of admission applications, the interview with the Academic Coordinator, the application of the general knowledge, English and psychometric exam, as well as the delivery of results to applicants;
- Initial registration or registration, which includes the receipt of documents proving previous studies and, where appropriate, the assignment of a student number and the opening of a file on paper and in magnetic form, in which, in a systematic and confidential, academic progress will be monitored.
UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAMS: the University will select its students by applying the National Higher Education Entrance Exam (EXANI-II) administered by the National Center for the Evaluation of Higher Education (CENEVAL) (As of autumn 2020, due Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, CENEVAL suspended its operations, so the new students were evaluated for admission through an entrance exam designed by the University.), in the terms and periods indicated for this purpose. Likewise, the Students must demonstrate their command of the English language. Students' level of English language proficiency is determined by the Global Full Diagnostic Test for English Students (GFDTES).
POSTGRADUATE PROGRAMS: the University will select its students through the application of the National Postgraduate Entrance Exam (EXANI III) administered by CENEVAL (As of autumn 2020, due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, CENEVAL suspended its operations, for which the new students were evaluated by the corresponding Academic Director), in the terms and periods indicated for this purpose. As well as an interview with the corresponding Academic Coordinator, who will evaluate your academic background and professional experience. In addition, students must demonstrate their command of the English language.
CONTINUING EDUCATION PROGRAMS: the University will select its students through an interview with the corresponding Diploma Consultant and/or the Director of Continuing Education, who will evaluate their academic background and professional experience.
Based on the results of the admission, placement and interview tests, each applicant will receive one of the following rulings, which will be final:
- Admission to the requested program;
- Conditional admission to the requested program;
- Denied admission.
Once admission to the University is approved, all applicants must meet the following requirements to be enrolled in the corresponding academic period:
a) Request registration in accordance with the procedures established by Registrar Office.
b) Submit the acceptance letter to the desired program.
c) Submit the following documentation:

Those applicants who have carried out previous studies in educational institutions incorporated to the State Governments, must present the corresponding documents duly legalized.
Foreign or national applicants with studies abroad, who present the corresponding documentation in a language other than Spanish, must translate it into said language, legalize it before the competent authority of the country where it was issued, as well as before the Mexican Consular Service or before the accredited representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the country of origin. For member countries of the Hague Convention, it will be enough for the documentation to be apostilled with the certification seal. Foreign students will also present two copies of the immigration document issued by the Mexican Government that demonstrates their legal stay in the country.
Transitory applicants must submit 3 credential size photographs, a copy of their passport or birth certificate, and an official transcript from the school of origin.
Applicants from other higher education institutions may enter if they meet the admission requirements. The studies carried out by these applicants will be subject to review for equivalence or revalidation based on their content and the qualification obtained in accordance with the University scale.
Applicants for a Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate must process the corresponding Official Revalidation or Equivalence of Studies at the Ministry of Public Education. Applicants for a Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate Degree must submit an official transcript from the institution of origin, and request revalidation of studies from the respective Academic Coordination. The University reserves the right to fully or partially recognize the equivalency opinion issued by the Ministry of Public Education. Likewise, for the purpose of recognizing the subjects, the student must pay the equivalent of one credit, for each subject revalidated within a period of no more than 90 calendar days from their first registration. The revalidation or equivalence procedures must be carried out during the first school period of stay of the interested party in the institution. Otherwise, you will lose all right to present them, having to take 100% of the credits at the institution. In no case will more than 45% of the total credits of the respective program be revalidated or accredited.
