Recognition of Official Validity of Studies by the Ministry of Public Education (SEP), 2005296 dated on May 27, 2005.
The program is aimed at all professionals who have completed a Maestria en Psicología program with Recognition of Official Validity of Studies (RVOE), such as:
Maestría en Psicología program in its different areas of specialization
Maestría Program in the areas of Social, Educational, Organizational Psychology
Demonstrate experience in conducting quantitative and qualitative research; otherwise, the program coordination office will define the necessary pre-requisites for acquiring these knowledge and skills.
In all cases, students will present a research project relating to the doctorate’s lines of research.
The Doctorado en Psicología program has as its objective the acquisition of the mastery of the necessary competences to design and implement innovative psychological and professional development projects which substantially revolutionize and modify practices in the fields of Psychotherapy, Health and Prevention.
Curriculum
The curriculum is completed in 5 four-month periods, completing 10 subjects, for a total of 75 credits.

At the end of the program, the Doctorate Students:
- Will produce original and innovative research which contributes to the mental health of the populations that they treat, whether through proposals for prevention in the area of mental health and achieving wellbeing in those persons or else, in the creation of psychotherapeutic intervention models which are appropriate for those who require this service.
- Will conduct quantitative and qualitative research projects.
- Will act as consultants in research projects in prevention in the area of health and/or within psychotherapy.
- Will coordinate research projects.
- Will write scientific publications
- Will disseminate the knowledge produced in their own research
