Recognition and Accreditations

The Universidad de las Américas. is recognized in Mexico and the United States of America. Therefore, on completion of the Licenciatura program in Mexico,  the corresponding  Bachelor's Degree is also obtained. On completion of a Maestría or Doctorado program, the corresponding U.S. Degree is obtained.

 

Recognition is granted by:

  • SEP The Ministry of Public Education grants the RVOE (Recognition of Official Validity of Studies) to our Licenciaturas, Maestrias and Doctorado programs (Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree and Doctorate Degree equivalent).

 

  • ANUIES The University is a member of the National Association of Universities and Higher Education Institutions.

 

Accreditation is granted by:

  • FIMPES The University is accredited by the Federation of Mexican Private Institutions of Higher Education.

 

  • SACS Universidad de las Américas, A.C. is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award baccalaureate, masters, and doctorate degrees. Universidad de las Américas, A.C. also may offer credentials such as certificates and diplomas at approved degree levels.
