The purpose of the Academic Exchange Program is to allow students to broaden their academic training at any university abroad, especially at universities with an agreement in order to provide them with the opportunity to broaden their horizons, internationalize and learn about other cultures.

In order to fulfill its bilingual mission, the University of the Americas, Mexico City, signed an agreement with Education First (EF) since 2014, an agency that guides all students with educational options, offering a high range of programs educational such as:

Academic year abroad: duration of 6, 9 and 11 months.
Go ahead tours: group excursions to destinations in Europe, Africa, Asia, North America and South America. Duration from 7 to 25 days.
University tours: thematic and multidisciplinary. Duration from 1 to 4 weeks.
Vacation tours: excursions in student groups. Duration from 1 to 5 weeks.
Language courses abroad: duration from 2 to 24 weeks.

Universities Without Agreement

You can also take courses at Institutions without an agreement with UDLA CDMX that have an excellent international reputation and that are a viable option in terms of the subjects that can be taken as long as they are authorized by your Academic Director.

The procedure to request an exchange in Universities without an agreement:

Review together with your degree director, the compatibility of the subjects to be studied at the chosen University with the UDLA CDMX study plan.
Carry out the admission procedures at the University of your choice.
Inform the Department of Academic Exchange and deliver the authorization of your Academic Director, as well as the subjects you will take during this period.
Upon your return, you must cover the cost of one credit per subject taken for revalidation purposes.
