The Universidad de las Américas, A.C. recognizes academic excellence granting scholarships according to the needs and performance of its students. 9.9% of the students have the benefit of a scholarship.
Scholarships are granted starting the second semester of study in UDLA, There are two kinds of scholarships for the benefit of the students:
Academic Excellence scholarship

Have a 9.5 or better average during the previous semester

Have no failed courses or S/D notes and be a regular student in the progress of the academic program. The percentaje of this scholarship varies from 25% to 50% according to the average obtained during the previous semester.
With this scholarship, you choose the percentage. It will depend on the number of hours that you decide to collaborate with UDLA in priority activities. Once the area is assigned, it will not be subject to appeal. Note that the student that the student that benefits from this kind of scholarship will be evaluated on the execution of the activities assigned by the University and renewal will depend on a good performance in the assigned program.

Procedure for first-time application
- The procedure is exclusively online through the UDLA CDMX website.
- The corresponding call will be published on the UDLA CDMX website, where the dates of the procedure will be described.
- The interested student must download the corresponding application, fill it out and send it to the email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
- Your application will be reviewed, we will check that you meet the necessary requirements to participate in the scholarship contest for this period and we will send you confirmation of upon receipt of your application, we remind you that you must have covered the registration payment and the first monthly payment; the scholarship will apply to the remaining payments.
- Remember that you must be a regular student for your application to be valid. The Registrar will review your academic status and progress in the study plan. The scholarship only considers the subjects registered in the early or regular registration periods. In no case are the subjects included in the periods marked as extemporaneous considered.
