Mission
The Universidad de las Américas, A.C. (UDLACDMX), founded 76 years ago, is a private, non-profit, higher education institution with the following purposes:
- To educate professionals with full mastery of English, capable of satisfying the requirements of corporations and productive projects in Mexico and the United States of America
- To obtain and spread knowledge, disseminate culture and promote international understanding
The University has a fundamental commitment: to educate within an environment of freedom, without distinction of nationality, race, gender, religion, political beliefs, social condition or physical aptitudes.

Principles for Bilingual Education Excellence
- To have Professors with a high academic level and unconditional respect for academic freedom
- To review and revise its education programs constantly through evaluation procedures
- To maintain an active English Language Cultural Program by strengthening the bilingual tradition through the teaching of the English language and the delivery of academic courses in the same language
- To conduct Institutional and Educational Research committed to the quality of education and enhancement of the student's learning process and Scientific Research applied to the areas of Administration, Information Systems and Computing, Psychology, Business, International Trade and Relations, Education, Law and Communications
- To keep a solid financial position to perform its educational purposes
- To possess Educational Support Resources to increase students' and professors' access to learning resources and services, and to provide adequate information technologies
- To promote Student Development through academic tutoring, extracurricular activities, sports and culture for the intellectual, social, moral, cultural and physical growth of the student
- To commit the community members to the fundamental promotion of the ethics of our institutional values and its unconditional respect for the professional and personal values of the individuals within it
